Anna joined Ekvall & Byrne in 2014.  The focus of her practice is first-party insurance coverage and litigation, where she has over 10 years of experience.  Clients and courts alike appreciate her ability to thoroughly analyze complex insurance issues and communicate them clearly.  Her work enhances results at trial and pre-trial stages of litigation and helps bring many cases to resolution before costly litigation takes its course.  Anna also handles appeals for the firm and provides research, writing and analysis for other facets of the firm’s practice.

Practiced insurance defense and coverage as well as general civil litigation.
Analyzed first-party property cases, advised insurers on litigation strategy, interviewed witnesses, attended property inspections, conducted written discovery, evaluated mediation options, and attended mediation for hurricane litigation.
Assisted with civil litigation, including preparation of petitions, motions, written discovery, and research.
