Our Attorneys
Brian K. Truncale graduated from McMurry College, with honors, in 1982, and from Texas Tech University School of Law in 1985. Prior to moving to Dallas, Brian was an associate with two insurance defense firms in Austin, where he tried several personal injury, tort claims and insurance cases. Since being in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, he has been the lead trial attorney for the staff counsel offices of both Kemper Insurance and Travelers Insurance.
Brian has extensive trial experience in the North Texas area and has handled several appeals to the Dallas and Fort Worth Courts of Appeal, including Smith v. Andrews, 832 S.W.2d 395 (Tex.App.– Fort Worth 1992); Sears, Roebuck and Co. v. Wilson, 963 S.W.2d 166 (Tex.App.–Fort Worth 1998); Griffin v. Travelers Indemn. Co. of Rhode Island, 4 S.W.3d 915 (Tex.App.–Dallas 1999); Host Marriott Corp. v. Meadows, 2001 W.L. 727341 (Tex.App.–Dallas 2001). While his primary emphasis has been in automobile and commercial transportation cases, he also has experience in premises liability, DTPA, insurance bad faith, building defect, products liability and toxic tort cases. Brian is certified by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization in personal injury trial law. He is licensed to practice in all Texas state courts, as well as the United States District Courts for the Northern, Western and Eastern Federal Districts of Texas. He is a member of the State Bar of Texas and the Tarrant County Bar Association.
